Spring Forward March 11th

Do Not Forget to Change Your Clocks!

Remember to spring forward and move your clocks one hour ahead at 2am on Sunday, March 11th. It may be a good idea to change the time right before you decide to go to bed if you do not intend to stay up until 2am. Some states such as Arizona, do not participate in changing their clocks. If you are unsure as to whether your state will "Spring Forward," check your state's website.

Yes, we will lose an hour of sleep. However, we are gaining a full hour of sunlight so that the days will be longer than the nights. We can enjoy more of the outdoors and participate in fun activities such as swimming and grilling!

This is also a great time to check batteries on smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms. Additionally, check to make sure your fire extinguisher is still pressurized and has not expired.

Enjoy the warmer temperatures and get ready for a wonderful Spring and Summer.

  1. Just like our clocks, hopefully the housing market will soon “spring forward! ” Similar to tension in a spring, the lack of inventory available for sale in the market right now is what is holding back the market. Many potential sellers believe that waiting until Spring is in their best interest, and traditionally they would have been right.
